👉 Learn how to solve trigonometric equations. There are various methods that can be used to evaluate trigonometric equations, they include factoring out the GCF and simplifying the factored equation. Another method is to use a trigonometric identity to reduce and then simplify the given equation.

When solving a trigonometric equation it is usually useful to identify which method best evaluates the given equation and apply the method.

Gonna just repeat what everyone else has already said, but your videos are amazing! I spend an hour in my trig class learning nothing and getting more confused than I was the last time I went to class and then I watch one of your videos and everything makes sense. Thank you so much!!!

I had close to zero knowledge about this topic and I'm about to take the accuplacer so just wanted to say thanks for the help!

Hey it's pretty cool how there's so many youtube videos to learn math easily. I've legitimately learned my entire pre calculus class before even taking it from your videos. Thanks!

This can also be done by simply dividing sinx^2 by cosx^2 to give tanx^2 = 3. Thus, tan x = Plusminus Root 3, meaning x is 60 degrees, and hence values are 60, 120, 240, and 300.

In the beginning of the problem, instead of bringing everything to one side, could I also have just divided cos^2(x) on both sides to make tan^2(x) then taken the square root of that? Which would be tangent is equal to square root 3?

Can’t you take the cos^2(x) over to the left side to make it tan^2(x) and then solve? It makes it so much easier.

2:22 How do you get the 4 Sine without the solution of it to prove?

PLEASE RESPOND!!!

Where did you get the 1/2 value on each one of the quadrants on the graph?

I can rather bring cos into left side denominator which makes it tan right sir? Would be easier than this I feel.

Are these principal or general solutions?

At 1:46, how can you just change cosine to sine like that? What allows you to just change terms in an equation? Is there a rule?

for sinx=+/-rt3/2 you can find x algebraically without a graph too. so 180(0)+60=60, 180(1)-60=120, 180(1)+60=240, 180(2)-60=300
convert to radians accordingly
