Is the bin refrigerated or does the ice start to melt as soon as it goes in the bin?

How many gallons does it take to fill up the bin completely? How much energy (electricity cost) does it use in a month?


What was the installation like for these machines? From the looks of it, they all *LOOK* the same, , Euhomy, hOmeLabs Freestanding, *COOLLIFE* Ice Maker?

BTW, do you need a water filter in line? Is there maintenance required.. for example, how often do you have to clean it? How do you select the water supply (i.e. top bottle or water line)?
