I appreciate the 2.5 year review. I keep looking at these and will probably buy the vevor brand. I think they are probably made the same and most likely by the same manufacturer. I see so many reviews but the unit is brand new and yours is a no nonsense great review!

Hey Terry, Cheers from Texas. Great video. You answered all my questions except one. I wanted to put it in my kitchen but was wondering how much heat it puts out when it's running? I have a spot in my garage already, but would like to put it in my kitchen.

How did you set up the unit to start? We bought one and set it up and can not get it to make ice. Yours is the only video with the exact unit.

I just purchased one of these and I have a cabinet by my sink that we were going to cut the bottom out of and slide this in and then connect it to the water line under the sink the same way you did except we still have a dishwasher so I’m wondering if it’s possible to still do this and connect to the drain to the garbage disposal and the waterline to the RO system? Did you have a video on how you installed it?

excellent review Terry.
I've just purchased a near identical machine branded as "Polycool IM-65L and after watching your video I realise the ice cube tray remains on it's side and water runs over it.
Hoping you can tell me whether the water that's not used gets recycled and NOT go down the drain? as my machine is going in a motor home and I can't be wasting precious water. 🤔

Hello,
I just got my Rovsun ice machine. It worked fine for a day or two but now l keep getting a E2.
I just saw your video so l'm going to unplug it for awhile and see what happens.
Thanks,

Do you have a video on how you connected the water line and drain line?

I like the thinner cubes because they break up easier when the ice falls

What is the thing beside of the timer supposed to be set on

How do you drain yours? Is it like a wash machine where it will pump it up? The reason I ask is I was hoping to drain it in the same drain as my wash machine.

How do I get the cooler to give me cut ice cubes instead of one big piece? I want to avoid having to break the ice every time I use it.

We have one of these at work and the ice keeps melting and the ice bin is completely water after about 1 week of use. What can we do to prevent?

Do you leave the machine running all the time? Or turn it on when you know you will need ice. Just wondering if it’s robust enough to handle constant use for a number of years. Thanks

Thank you for your video and instructions. I bought this unit last week but our tenants who use it told me there is water melting in the bottom? Is it normal? The drain line is installed.

Hi.. how does the timer work? How do you know if it’s on? Are the smaller cubes solid?

How often do you need to clean the machine the manual says once a week

What was the installation like?
Do you need a water filter in line? How often do you have to clean it?

How do you select the water supply (i.e. top bottle or water line)? And how much gallons does it take to fill up the bin completely? How much energy (electricity cost) does it use in a month?

BTW, any thoughts on the COOLLIFE Commercial Ice Maker ?
