John Thompson - Exploration and Mining - a world of change

Amazing talk this week with our guest rockstar John Thompson as he discusses "Exploration and Mining - a world of change". His talk is based on an invited presentation at the SEG 100 conference in 2021. The goal is to summarize the changes that have happened in economic geology and mineral exploration over the last ~100 years. Evolution of the science, and the discovery process reflect global change, increasing demand for metals and minerals, and the development of science broadly.
