Back in 1971, George Harrison organized a concert called "Concert for Bangladesh" while my country (Bangladesh) was at war for freedom. George, Ringo, Clapton and even Bob Dylan was there. We owe it to them for letting the world now how we were suffering and kick started foreign support for our country.
I just felt like I needed to mention it.

Fun Fact: Bob Geldof is a past pupil of my high school in Ireland.
Once, he arrived in school in pajamas as an act of rebellion and was told to go home and get changed. He promptly arrived back in another pair of pajamas!

If the leader of Panama couldn't handle the heaviness of Tom Petty or Bon Jovi, imagine what he'd do if they blasted Slayer or Death Metal?

You should have talked a bit about Queen at Live Aid, as it is the greatest live performance of all time. And every artist who was at Live Aid has said they stole the show.

there's a 1973 hungarian theater musical about the altamont concert called "képzelt riport egy amerikai popfesztiválról" (imaginary report on an american rock festival). its music was written by one of the greatest hungarian rock songwriters when he was only 25. the whole album of the original performance is on youtube, it worths a listen.
