I don’t drink to escape or party to numb anymore. I’m no longer intoxicated by the things of the world. I let go of toxic friendships and relationships that once drained my soul.
Oh yes I still sip red wine occasionally but with mindfulness, not bondage.
Because in Christ, I walk in freedom, with peace, with purpose and with joy.

Such an amazing song Lauren keep up the good work lifting up the souls of mankind. Shineing the light of the Gospel in dark places. My life has been one of everything put together in the worst way before i met Jesus. From drug addiction, 3 overdose, juveniles centers, mental health hospitals, all the way to prison doing 6 years which i ended up being deported away from all my love ones. But one thing i can truly say when i met Jesus Christ my life started to change and He never left me. What touch me the most about this song was when she says. "Lets talk about, how you skipped over the grave two hands one prayer and everything change😮🤯. Truly all habits die when you want to live for Jesus. Very nice! Soulful, fun. Lauren Your voice is so beautiful, strong and you have such power and range. Song sounds like a cross between Adele, Lauren Hill, Mary-J-Blige and Amy Winehouse. This song has an old-school, Fugees vibe to it, which I love (as well as the artists mentioned).

This song HITS HOME with Me for real. On this morning 33 years ago... I was laid up in a coma; with a generous 10% chance of living to see tomorrow! Out partying all night, and with a blood alcohol count of .085 @ 4:30 AM. Who knows what other drugs were in my system? I Fell asleep at the wheel of My pickup truck, hit a mailbox, woke up, and rolled My truck, trying to recover. While the truck was rolling; I went through the windshield, and the trucks cab, pinned Me between it and the road... I was crushed under 2500 pounds of steel, sandwiched between the pavement, and life flighted to the hospital. When I arrived: Both of My lungs collapsed, and My Heart stopped... I was clinically DEAD! The short list of my injuries were: Crushed right knee, multiple breaks in my left femur, broken hips, broken and dislocated left shoulder, fractured skull, lacerated liver and a ruptured spleen, (usually DEAD from that alone in 20 minutes - how long it took the E.M.T's to extract Me)... By God's grace; I had a team of 7 doctors trying to save My life - Described to My mother by an E/R nurse as: "It looked like a Doctor's Convention going on in the E/R!" I was put into a medically induced Coma for the next month, to help My body heal or Die? All I do know is that "Heaven is REAL!" For the next year and a half multiple surgeries and extensive rehab... I also know HELL including an addiction to Demerol, (A morphine substitute)! For some reason God spoke to Me in My Near Death Experience and said: "NOT TODAY!" The doc's told Me I'd never walk again! All I had left was to pray, and did: "God - I want to dance again - If I can't - I want to die - If I can - I'll do whatever it takes to try to help others from making the same mis-takes" I developed this problem while in the hospital that sends out signals to Body, (brain damage, that couldn't be detected) to heal things that weren't broken! My hips fused Me into a 30 degree position, In the worst degree ever on medical record at that time! The "Extra bone was forming around My spinal cord as well, (If It didn't stop, I was going to be paralyzed)! The doc's didn't know much about My condition; most people die from just that, turn to stone! I lost 75 pounds, know what a baby's first steps are like and also survived a Fat Embolism from My Femur break! ALL DOCUMENTED! I've never seen anyone pray harder than My orthopedic Doctor! Who told My team of doctors on My hospital exit conference: "There's No Medical Reason for Me to be Alive!" That I was given Every Drug known to mankind! There's a Motion picture of Me on X-ray! Here's My Testimony... God is Real! Do NOT subscribe To man's distractive opinions for EVERYTHING WE SEE IS TEMPORAL! IT'S THE THINGS WE DON'T SEE THAT ARE ETERNAL! Let Me continue... I know what it's like to be looked at like a ghost! I know HEAVEN and HELL! I walk today because God Loves Me! My name is SILAS! The Word I STILL WALK on earth to deliver @ 60 years old now is This: "IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE - THEN AT LEAST...LEARN LOVE BY TRUE DEFINITION, AND RESPECT IT! To Me THIS IS WHAT ALL OF THIS IS ABOUT! ALL OF IT!" I used to be a Luke warm Christian... In 1985 I lost My Very wealthy Namesake Dad to lung Cancer... It was horrible! Dad left Nothing to My 5 brother's. "We were raised to WORK!" I have a bible that was given to Me by My Righteous, (NEVER MISSED A SUNDAY) Grandparents. Grandpa quoted 2: Timothy - "Study to show thyself a workman approved unto God; Rightly dividing the Truth". I lived My life until Dad's Death - living on the word "Workman" alone! Before Dad died - He Was too Busy to go to church and left Earth - worth $7 million dollars! He tried to Buy His way into heaven! After doing a few evangelical gigs sitting beside Dad. I couldn't help but to start really diving into Scripture for Truth; after the speaker said: "The devil is going to be "An American President!" I almost fell out of My chair laughing! For years while I studied: "All Scripture in every language and religion, INCLUDING the lost books, (I wasn't going to be ignorant to signs) The Truth finally emerged as to My BIG question of: "How was this going to Dupe Humanity? How ? With all of this GREAT? technology! What was the devil going to Use to Fool US ALL? Boom! My answer finally came.... MONEY! Thanks DAD for teaching Me the Biggest Lesson of all! Ask Yourself: "What is LOVE ? EVERY DAY!" "Ask Yourself What or Who Do I LOVE THE MOST?" The choice is Yours : WHAT OR WHO DO I WORSHIP ABOVE ALL THINGS? Scripture, (ALL OF IT, including all of Man's omissions - is like all Historical Data) We need to learn from FAT CHANCE - But I'll keep trying! The one assumption that people see in Me today is: "He must have hurt His back!" Bless Their Tiny Little Sheeplike Hearts! I live in the Middle of God's Country - The heart of the Bible Belt, (Man's Word)! To Me it's truthfully Been turned into The BABBLE Belt! But the one thing that presides here is LOVE; regardless of all the ignorance! Our eyes are open and We look out for all of our neighbors regardless of our opinions of each other! This place mandates it! I'm sure that Anyone who takes time to read this will likely put it in the fiction category... It's NOT! I's all FACT and is documented! MY MESSAGE FROM GOD!
