AirPods Beta 5A282d for iOS 16 is Out! - How To Install and What's New?

AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, AirPods 3 and AirPods Max Beta Firmware update has been released and should help with automatic switching between iPhone, iPad and Mac. The new AirPods Update 5A282d is for iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura. In this video I explain how to update AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, AirPods 3, and AirPods Max and go over the new features and update for AirPods using iPhone 13 Pro.

I also show you step by step how to install AirPods Pro Beta 1 for iOS 16 using the AirPods Pro, a Mac running macOS 13 Ventura and Xcode 14 beta and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Hello, is there any way to limit the airpods to be charged up to maximum 80% all the time?

the last firmware was great for me, it increased the range of my AirPods Pro, when fetching bags from the car, and leaving my iPhone behind.

be interesting to see what this update does for connection switching. I have found connection switching to be un-reliable, between my iPhone and Mac mini.

I have never NEVER managed to get auto-switching to work on my Airpods from iOS to MacOS. It seems there are hundreds of people struggling with the same issues. I tried this beta firmware and no different. I'm surprised to hear it's working for you on your Mac. I will keep testing.

I think they made the sound when you toggle through transparency and noise-cancellation mode dependent on volume, it's quieter in low vs high volume where it's loud.
