Would straight braid be ok for C-rig? Also is a 3/8 ounce weight ok for pond hopping?

Handy little pcs of plastic. Eliminates 2 knots, saves time and have used 2 with weights up to 1oz with no slip problems . Also use a bead between keepers and sinker. 15 lb floroclear. Works for me .

Unless you believe that the red helps you of the bead or Carolina keeper, I just like to use two bobber stops one above and one below the weight. Now you can move your weight anywhere you want, you can have a peg Texas Rig, you can move your weight up a little bit from the bait, or you can move it way up and use it as a Carolina rig. That's one of my favorite rigs that is caught me more bass than anything else because of its flexibility throwing creature baits like the biospawn or even the newer keitech creature bait that so few people use. Also works great with lizards and zoom ol monsters or whatever plastic you want to throw on there.

Had to skip the first minute or so but nice video

I've moved them without pliers and they slip. Weight is always down by hook. I guess always use pliers?

I use those as well. Another option especially with the brass weight is a glass bead and use either rubber skirt material, bobber stop or rubber peg to keep the bead in place

What is the thing you tied at the end to attach the hook to the leader to complete the Carolina Rig? I rest me case!

How is lake "x" fishing? Haven't fished it in a while, Gonna be a while longer.
FYI there are plans to rebuild the peninsula, what is now an island, between I70 and the chute.

I just picked these up myself and want to try them out. I figure in the ponds I fish not have to tie as many knots I can switch out from Carolina rig to other rigs easier on the one rod I own

I just bought some more of these...I like on package it advertises "1 knot vs 3 knots"...

Nice I tried those but it kept sliding on the cast. I was using a 3/4 or 1oz weight I think. I guess I should have been using 2 of them. I've still got'em I'll have to give it a try.
