BTK killed my childhood babysitter, Kathryn Bright. She was my uncle’s niece. 😢 I was too young to remember anything about it, and wasn’t told until after he was caught.

I knew him personally.. I grew up literally down the street from him. When I got older I worked for Spangles right down the street from Dennis and walked to work passing his house every single day for years .. he would come thru the drive thru every morning and I would always try to get him to smile because he always looked so sad and mad but also because that’s just how I was. He literally NEVER SMILED! Ever! Even the meanest grumpy old men/customers I would eventually get them to crack a half smile.. not his scary ass!! For years I tried to get him to smile .. nope not once!

Today is the 4th parole hearing for a Redlands, CA man who killed a classmate back in 2003. This case became national news when I was young. He was granted parole in 2019 but was later reversed by Governor Gavin Newsom in March 2020.
This resignated with me always... Kelley's mother then passed away in 2014 of what people say a "broken heart" I don't believe this man deserves a second chance when he destroyed her family's dreams and robbed Kelly of her life.
I'd love to hear you discuss this case and maybe bring more light to this by doing so. Thanks♥️

I think that Brian being caught the way he did is proof that a serial killer won’t be able to get away with it the way they used to in the 60’s-70’s. If he didn’t I think he would’ve kept going like BTK

BTK is a mind blower. Seems like it could only happen in a horror movie. Hard to comprehend that kind of evil can exist in a fellow human being. Knowing a person like him exists makes me question everyone I run into.

The scariest part about him is that he lived amongst society and just blended in while doing these inhumane, sick deeds. His daughter's book is a really good, eye-opening account of how normal her upbringing with him was. Of course, she had struggles just like everyone else does, but he literally was the normal dad, gardening, taking his family camping, hiking, out on day trips, just living a normal life. It's so crazy. She's had a lot of therapy and lives with PTSD. This story truly is terrifying and mind blowing

BTK's daughter has done some recent interviews with The Interview Room channel. She has been through so much and has become an incredible lady. She faces PTSD daily because of what her father did. She is finding ways to give back to try to help other survivors.

My friend’s parents knew BTK and his wife. They said his wife was sweet and she disappeared for a couple of years after his arrest. They never really liked him though. They said he was arrogant
