Instead of plain redux you should definitely consider something else like redux-toolkit, rematch, mobx, zustand. Also, check out react-query, it’s the best thing for fetching data :)

I have used redux and mobx in prod with typescript on diff projects, and as for me, it's more pleasure to work with mobx, much less boilerplate.
Also, if you choose redux, you have to use react-saga/react-thunk and reselect, almost always. And with mobx - only mobx.
And one more, with redux, much easier to make application complicated by the re-renders (with unnecessary re-renders)
