We went through a very difficult season in our marriage recently. A friend shared a sermon with me. Changed my outlook, changed my life. I feel the word so much that it's almost a bit uncomfortable. I had to get up from my chair and pace around. I refused to give up on our family unit. The issues are just coming to the surface. We are working together now. My husband who was 100% a nonbeliever shared a song about angels with me. We both know the rain stormed down on our marriage to wake us both up ...praise God!!!

I’m on my senior year of highschool and covid19 has really ruinned many things for me. My future became even more uncertain and I lost many opportunities. I pretended like it was all okay. I showed a smile to my parents telling them that I could make it through. But deep inside I had anxiety ripping off every but of my soul, depression crawling towards me again, stress, worry, and so many more emotions. I didn’t realize until now that every single droplet of rain had a purpose. God sent down a rain to reveal that I was unable to do this alone. He was trying to assure me that everything was under control in His hands if I just let Him do His work. I let so much rain go down the drain but I won’t let any of it go to waste anymore. I have believed in God through out my life but never had a relationship with him or accepted him as my personnel savior. After watching my older sister pass away, I hated God. I watched this sermon on a whim one day, turned it on and jumped in the shower, not even knowing the title was wasted rain. Needless to say I ended up bawling my eyes out. Fast forward 2 years and I am getting baptized next month with my husband who I have been praying to have a heart of flesh. We have our own local church family now. Pastor Steven thank you for sharing God's love. Thank you and your family for all you have done in His name. Thank you for sharing the hard truths, and worshipping WITH your parishioners and not just preaching at us.
