That is corporatism not capitalism. Capitalism is the ownership over your own means of production.

Capitalism is fair competition without any pressure to make a purchase at 1 place or the other. When u don't have fair competition because of crooked politics, who can make it SEEM like capitalism by subsidizing 1 business and not the others therefore starving all other businesses out that's not capitalism. Our government is supposed to be the referee so everyone has an equal chance to succeed. Our government used to look out for "the small guy" and keep monopolies from forming. Ie JD Rockefeller to name 1. Now it's the other way around. Politicians are for sale and big corporations know it. We have got to get money out of politics. I do not hold out much faith for our government doing any better because look at the average American. We are lazy, extremely ignorant, so we will keep voting people in office that can raise money and can make fun of the other person really good. Damn if they can do the job, they look good and is a smart-ass and they have money so they must b successful. Idk. I'm just guessing on what's in these people's heads to make them vote for these idiots. 1 more thing we've got to start voting for the person, damn it if their republican or Democrat. That's y I liked Trump, kind of. Because he pissed off both sides. If you're pissing off the established party's both equally, I'd say that that's a good start. That passed my litmus test

Remember when we were kids and one kid down the street didn’t play by the accepted rules the rest of the kids played by? We chose not to play with that kid. If we want to do business with China, they need to learn the accepted rules, or we need to modify ours or adapt to theirs. By the fact that we have grown more dependent/connected to and in China, it seems like we are willing to accept their practices/terms. Is it greed or FOMO that’s driving the acceptance? Either we incorporate their practices or we can chose not to play.

More efficient is quantifiable, “better” on the other hand is subjective and will change from person to person.
