Показать описание
Otolaryngology is a broad specialty covering the ears, nose, throat, neck, and skull base. An otolaryngologist, more often referred to as an ENT doctor, has four years of medical school, then typically a year or two of general surgery, and then another four years of specialized ENT training. An otolaryngology subspecialist will go on to another year or two of training in a specific area of expertise - anything from facial plastics to rhinology, to laryngology, to head and neck, to pediatrics.
