I stopped listening to secular music a few years back, by the grace of God but it seems like Christian music is also taking a turn for the worse. Let’s pray and stay vigilant!

My husband calls CCM "Carnal Christian Music." We've gotten away from a lot of the mainstream so-called Christian music because of our concerns. We used to enjoy Klove, but we don't listen to that radio station anymore either. Years ago we saw Caedmon's Call at church. I had one CD that I never listened to from them. As soon as I heard about this, I scratched the CD and pitched it. Unfortunately, the Arts & Entertainment industries have a lot of perversion. A lot of these perverted people are 'fun' to be around and can seem like friends. I understand better when Jesus talks about these times and says, "Because lawlessness has increased, the love of most will grow cold" (Matt 24:12). We cannot let the deceitfulness of sin harden our hearts, even by people who pretend to be our friends. We cannot love father, mother, son, daughter, etc, MORE than we love God.

This is a time of great deception. My children and I stopped listening to many of these artist years ago. We fell under conviction and knew something was wrong. Please pray and use the God given discernment God has given you. Many so called ministers and musicians are very deceiving.

Christians with real conservative values seem to be more and more shut out of media, careers. It is like being a Christian fake is ok, but don’t be a real one. This is a real problem for young people wanting a chance in acting or music. Pray for their protection, and that they also receive godly, career counseling.

I’m so glad I never heard of most of these people. I rarely listen to Christian music ever since I saw an article on Lauren Daigle saying she doesn’t consider herself a Christian. These folks deny the truth to please culture. Fame isn’t worth offending The Lord.

I attended a JOC concert in the 90's before I was brought to Christ. Even as a non-believer I was shocked THAT kind of music was considered Christian. There was nothing about praise in that raucus and essentially hard rock music. Perhaps the lyrics use Christ's name and leverages Christian tropes and trappings but that's where the worship ends. The news in this video doesn't shock me one bit unfortunately.

I have Christian family that listen to contemporary Christian music. I used to also up until the Lord in his grace and mercy revealed the truth to me a couple years ago. The music is so alluring it’s hard to convince people that’s it’s not of God. We see what we want to see.
