Mikey is probably the best Artist channels out there. He uses disposable pencils e.g. Mechanical or a regular pencil, and a simple sheet of paper you can find anywhere, and he rarely uses top of the line artist equipment that are expensive

Until now i always draw some lines and cubes as a warmup before draw something else.
I think the 1st step should be about how to create a good line since there are a lot of beginner artist with shaky and wobbly lines struggle to draw something.
Nice tutorial btw, actually the stuff i just realized from this video is how you move your hand, grip the pencil and rotate the paper to form the lines. Awesome trick, and love the triangle!
