For anyone reading the comments and confused on who “Shark Attack” is, it’s my old user. I’m also not correcting my spelling just because I think it’s hilarious how 4th or 5th grade me (I don't remember-) forgot to check for spelling errors. xD

I watched this when I was much, much younger, closer to when it first came out, and it (along with your other tutorials) was honestly what got me into drawing seriously, and gave me an escape from my less then ideal home life. Thank you for helping me become the artist I am today <3

hey, i just wanted to give a big thank you to the creator of this video.
about 3 years ago, i picked up a pencil and paper, and decided that i wanted to be a serious artist, not just a non-sketcher, or a doodler. so i looked up “how to draw cats” and found this video.
i used this video and the one on cats walking as a reference for ages, and i kept coming back to it every week. until one day, i could draw my own poses, i had my own art style, and i didn’t need the video anymore.
this got recommended to me again, and i immediately got emotional. this video is the start of my artistically journey, the reason i started animating, the reason i even do anything after school in the first place.
so thank you. thank you so much. this video means more to me than you’ll ever know.
