$20 seems steep, mark it down to $19.99 and you got a deal.

If there's one thing I've learnt from Samus, It's that anything to do with nuts is always worth it :)

I thinks it’s funny that this short about if a product is worth it or not, and YouTube just puts the thumbnail as the one shot where it just says “NOPE!” 😂

Pro tip from drummer and repairman. Lube your T bolts, wing nuts every 4 years with white lithium grease or other wheel bearing grease. Never strips and doesn't bind, which is what the "over-tight" feel is coming from. It's just binding and never really tightens well and strips out. No tools needed. Tube of grease is 5.00$

I'd be shocked if there were not a bunch of free design files on the web to 3D print your own.

A small crescent wrench works just fine for $5 !!!

I have one. And yea it is so worth it, especially if you need to loosen an old cymbal or something

If it can take a lot of force, yes. Perfect for ultra-tightening my snare to get a punishing contrast between everything.

I use a small wrench and it works quite well

I feel like it’s a bit expensive for a piece of plastic with grooves, but if someone got that for me hell yeah I’d use it.

Especially when your Dad fiddles with your drum set when your not looking

There's nothing I won't fix with just my drumsticks. My hi-hat screws, my kick pedal springs, my wife coming in the room and telling me I'm being too loud. It's my miracle tool!

I'm not a drummer, not even playing anything (maybe other people nerves sometimes), but i would say it's not metal at all. A small adjustable steel wrench will do as good, but it's metal and it'll never break. And it's metal. Heck, even two prong wrench for angle grinder nut will do the trick with that big wingnut. And for those who don't like a cold hard metal tool in hand, one can make such tool from wooden waste. Couple minutes of work with drill, files and sandpaper to make a slot for a wingnut and nice handle at the other hand, and voilà there's one nice environmental friendly wooden wrench.

I've always just used vice grips and it works great, can adjust it to whatever size is needed.

Samus: is this gadget worth it?
Thunbnail: NOPE!

Gibraltar makes one that you can use for these wing nuts, the hex screws for their rack clamps, and it has a slot for tuning tension rods.

It's $40, but imo I feel it's worth it for being a 3 in 1 tool

Absolutely if it makes your life easier
