Ghost Affair by Joe Peppercorn at Rumba Cafe 8-30-24

Joe Peppercorn, Columbus's best songwriter, has long been known as the frontman for The Whiles, the leader of the Sgt. Peppercorn's Marathon (an all-day performance of the entire Beatles catalog), the Morrissey of Smiths tribute Headmasters, and more.

Joe has now released some great solo work, and just recently did an album release show for his first solo album, Darkening Stars. It is a masterpiece, and you all need to buy it -- on vinyl at Lost Weekend Records and Spoonful Records, and digitally on Bandcamp. Here, from the show, is Ghost Affair.

I went to Grandview Library today to upload 8/30. I think I beat you getting the first 2 opening acts up since I only got 8 minutes of act 1 and Sean act 2 was short. But you beat me to getting Joe up! I think it finished on Archive around 3-4pm. I was real happy with the sound of it and The Johnson Brothers the next day at Riverwatch Tower on Lane at the OSU tailgate thing. Had to duct tape an umbrella to the mic stand for that.
