I love this app. I bought an iPhone 5 just for this app cuz there ain't nothing on Android remotely close or as powerful as this. I can't believe I can carry my music studio in my pocket.

Anyone reading this now or later in the future:
I was skeptical, for quite a long time and music always fascinated me as it should, all of us. It is a duplicate to the beat of our hearts as i learned through this very app. So i always have wanted to compose and everything belonging in this realm. I auditioned for the tv show so you think you can dance and was blessed to have been part of season 9. It made me realize that i have a desire to write music, far more than i even thought. After reading countless reviews some very horrible and some that just inspired me deep, as i hope this review may do to you.
For years, the 1st iphone put on the market this app was around, but at 20 dollars i NEVER imagined to purchase especially if i may not get a refund...Fast forward through time we're now in 2015 i am no pro, not even a rookie at that. I am just a NOOB but i crave to learn whatever basics, and terms i need to, with what i own at this moment.  Iphone6
At this point i can't afford all the expensive equipment and i decided to dive in and buy this software. For now, to me as a complete novice, it was the best decision i could have made in my hunger to learn, create my own sound make memorable music and evolve as a song writer.  For myself, i have made some really interesting tracks on the fly,   example as the track above, for this demo. Very awesome demo song. I Have ran it through the most expensive model of bose, beats by dre, skullcandy and more. The quality of sound that this iphone 6/software can produce is impeccable. I know there is hate towards the iphone and or anything with apple as the people may never change their mind. If you own an iphone/ipad  and too have that hunger to learn and release your mind please don't hesitate on buying this app. the 20 dollars is worth every single penny of it. (2000 pennies) as far as self knowledge and growth, it has changed my life, the way i hear music, and just the way i hear things. I thank you INTUA for making a product worth it's value, although it may not be thousands or equal up to millions or whatever a studio costs, This product is what i feel is an ABSOLUTE bang for your buck that may bring you some luck.

I'm getting this for my iPad! I was a supporter of the original Beatmaker, but what Intua really needs to make is BeatMaker for the Mac/ PC. They would make so much more money, because this $20 software blows away the hundreds of dollar professional software

after whatching this video i downloaded straight away and to be honest i am not dissapointed at all ! this app really delivers, i love that fact that they have took a step back looked at other competetors and added/improved the features that they have got, in my opionion the layout and how it runs is alot nicer than nano studio. true it is abit pricey but you get what you pay for and more. now looking forward to what nano studio do hope they bring out a nano studio 2 :)

I have the app. LOVE IT! I want to say more, but I just want to say I LOVE THIS SONG! It's very expressive and there's lot's of room to improvise over it (voice, or instrument). PLUS!¡!¡ It's in the demo folder of this app. After 2 weeks of studying the manual (google it, then download it), I spent 2-hours on a 2-minute song last night! copy & paste time!

@DetroitNative83 All you have to do is sequence your track, then export the whole song, then use Soundcloud to upload straight to the internet also you can use a FTP Client to send your track to your PC or to send your own samples from the your PC to Beatmaker.

Intua spends lots of money hiring very talented designers and coders to make Beatmaker. The indie developers on Android usually are a one or two person team cranking out their best efforts.
I've got a punk rock spirit I guess, I'm supporting Android and the nerds who code and give good customer support.

thanks for the quick start, guide and instructions on your web site, the only problem i have with them is that they are not available in a downloadable pdf, at least that i was able to find, it would be nice to have that pdf printed out for when i had a question while working away from the internet, also, perhaps an update where tool tips are added to the buttons in app, letting you know what button you are touching.... just a suggestion, love the app
