Very nice video, that last part to Disable handsfree telephony is the most important part when connecting to a PC (If you already have a microphone).

This and another video helped me a lot! I just had to unplug my headphones from the wire first and then follow the steps. Even if the wire isn’t connected to any setup, it will not pair through bluetooth, so it is important to make sure it is off and fully disconnected. Thank you!!

Thanks mate! You saved me at least a few more hours headache. Received my Windows laptop back from repair and, as I reckoned, the headphones didn't work. Searched and paired my headphones on the "Bluetooth & Devices" page, but even though they showed paired, they wouldn't "connect" via bluetooth. I'd forgotten that you also have to search & pair the device on the "System Sound" page also. Once completeted, everything was back to normal. I owe you a pint!🍺

Hi Rick! Great video! I am however having trouble with the last step. I have a WH1000XM4. When I disable the handsfree telephony, I can no longer use the headphones as audio output but it still says I am connected to them. What am I doing wrong? I have restarted the laptop but that dosen't help.

Awesome thanks mate. I had different views coming up for second step. Took me a while but to others I had to go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices > More devices and printer settings. hope that helps.
