Dude says they might even lower premiums. An insurance company…voluntarily lowering premiums. Not sure I’ve either rolled my eyes or laughed that hard in a long time.

America has become a joke. Home Insurance, Mortgage insurance, HOA, property tax, Mortgage interest.

That CEO looks as sleazy as the insurance companies themselves.

The federal government needs to make laws that stops this invasion of privacy.

I'm sorry....undeclared trampolines?!?! Should I just put a "No Fun Allowed" sign in my yard?
This is why it shouldn't be illegal to not have insurance

that CEO is CRAZY - They are NEVER going to lower your home insurance based off of drone or plane images.

We give insurance companies in this country far too much power. It needs to be reigned in.

People getting dropped over " discolored roofing" is ridiculous. They realize its outside in the weather and birds crap on roofs right?

Absolutely dystopian. Did the insurance company file a flight path, get the persons consent to fly a drone over their property or mention it in the agreement?
No.

All i get is a feeling, that if you are living in the US, everyone is trying to scam each other. Unbelievable.

Sounds dystopian to me. Over reliance on technology will be humanity's downfall.

So the guy paid $500 for an independent inspection, just so the insurance company will turn around and give him permission to pay them again? Then when he actually needs the insurance company’s help, they’ll deny him.

It's illegal to film a person's backyard without their consent. This is great grounds for a class action lawsuit against those insurance companies. Just be sure to not settle so these companies have a permanent record.

Basically they look for homes that MIGHT use their insurance and the company is finding a way out before they have to pay

Half of the shingles in the USA have rain streaks like that. Not a sign of damage.

Has anyone ever had their policy lowered? Cause I know just about everyone's had it raised! So sick of crap like this!

This is the end goal of the insurance:

Keep it clean and "safe" so that you'll never do a claim but pay for ever and premiums go up every year.

Next to HOAs ...insurance companies are the cancer of this earth.

2:30 "Do you think the insurance company was trying to drop you?"

"Based on what they sent us, yes."

I'm dying!

Had this happen to me with Nationwide insurance. I was with them for 32 years when the sent me a non-renewal letter due to a small spot of moss about 3" x 10" on a porch roof. After receiving the letter I cleared the moss and contacted them to let them know it was cleared. They wanted a receipt to prove it was removed and when I explained I cleaned it myself they said they would not renew my policy without a receipt. I provided pictures showing the moss had been removed but they wouldn’t accept anything less than a paid receipt. I had to find another insurance company which charged me more due to the fact that Nationwide dropped me. What a scam!
