Residents of Kyiv rendered homeless as Russian troops target Ukraine's capital | English News

It is day 24 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and scores of civilians have lost their lives in the conflict. Armies of both countries have been involved in intense fights since Russian troops entered Ukraine. As Russian forces are advancing towards Kyiv, Residents of Kyiv have been rendered homeless.

Many Ukrainians would have fled the capital into a neighbouring country, but unfortunatly Kyiv's autorities issued a measure forbiding men aged between 18 to 60 to leave the country but to stay and resist. This is absolutly unacceptable to force unwilling civilians into fight or to be used as human Shield. Président Zelinsky is accountable.

Many Ukrainians came to my country, we have them on the news saying that Ukrainian forces didn’t let them leave. National tv in Greece reported that too. Many video on the internet clearly showing Ukrainians say that Russian soldiers and Kadirovs army helped them leave. What on earth is going on!?

They are not civilians, they are soldiers. Remember Zelinski ordered all civilians to arm themselves and fight. So social media, stop calling them civilians, they all are soldiers, buildings and houses are filled with civilians soldiers. Russia has the right to bomb them. If Zelinski did not ordered his civilians to arm themselves, I would feel hurt and sorry for them but this is different.
