JerryRig found that the front glass didn't have deep scratches at Level 6. Literally the first time I've seen glass be so scratch resistant on his channel. I was so impressed.

then the back glass cracked.

Fun fact: This is the second time Apple using titanium in their products.
The first one was PowerBook G4, and... it did not go well at first; Display hinges were easily breaks even under normal use.

High quality stainless steel is stronger than low quality titanium. I bet when Jerry gets his test results back its going to be the cheap stuff.

As jerry did explain there is only 1mm titanium molded on another aluminium frame, so frame is not 100% titanium. And used titanium costs 30 dollars

titanium is used in jet fighters and such because of its high temperature characteristics and in space its used bacause of its corrosion resistance (not that stainless steel is bad its just heavier), but i dont remember the last time I needed my phone working at 500°c, and they probably used the cheapest alloy possible, and even if they used the best titanium alloy stainless steam still has better streangth to volume than taitanuim, so unless they made the phone more bulky it would be less durable

The newer iPhones back glass are more budget-friendly and easier to repair, but they tend to experience 10 times more frequent breakdowns compared to their predecessors. Now this is a shrewd business strategy, encouraging more frequent upgrades and repairs. 😂😅
