It always surprises me that people try to learn words that they don’t understand at all and wouldn’t want to know. Based on this, their scores are lowered, although they could get 7, 8, 9 just by talking to the examiner as an ordinary person.

Hi! I love your lessons.I took my exam today and hopefully I’ll get a 7.5 overall and at least a 7 in each module because by the end of my practice, I was scoring at least that much(though even 9 and 8 became more frequent than my initial practice tests).I remember being scared of every module before beginning the exam, even my hands were shaking.I took notes when you taught us about the correct way to attempt each part of the test and worked on my linguistic proficiency consistently for 3 months.Despite all of that, I was extremely nervous to the point that my voice was shaking during the speaking test.I had expected the worst case scenarios for each section of this test, which didn’t happen.In fact I love that they began with the writing section as I had worked on it the most.I have given my best.
Fingers crossed! I hope everything pays off and I don’t end up retaking IELTS.That might feel frustrating.

I binge watched IELTS Advantage YouTube videos for 2 days and practiced for 1 day and I am happy to inform you that I scored 8.0 overall (L 8.5; R 9.0; W 7.5; S 7.5). I am not proud of the results because I think I could have done better given the information that I gleaned from the videos. However, this score would do for now. My advice to future test takers, Practice! Practice!! Practice!! My writing score could have been higher if I had taken more timed practice tests. I couldn't finish the second task. Also, my speaking score could have been significantly higher if I had practiced that 2 minute speaking task. I blanked out after a few seconds. Overall, thanks to everyone at IELTS
