I am sorry to sound so negative but unless that train has wings it’s never gonna happen, how is a bus size transportation is going to be better than an actual bus that is already running between these neighborhoods? That makes no sense, we need an actual reliable new line that connect these neighbors a mass transit but that costs billions of dollars per mile so I really doubt they move ahead.

The logical thing to do would be to improve and extend the G line which serves the same route more or less. But of course instead of fixing the subway, Deblasio has to pursue his feud with Cuomo.

Oh hell no, just extend the G... Light rail would NOT fit for New York. The G or a bus would be a much better option. And Astoria ALL THE WAY TO SUNSET PARK? You might as well make a new subway or bus line for that. Buses are also wheelchair accessible like the proposed BQX connector. Parking would be less of an issue because there wouldnt be tracks blocking the curbs either.
