Is The Great Tribulation God's Wrath? part 1 Judgment unto Repentance vrs. God's Wrath

The entire concept of a Pre-tribulation Rapture rests upon the claim that the time-frame commonly referred to a the Great Tribulation is the Wrath of God being poured out upon planet Earth; and because the Church is not appointed to Wrath we will be taken from this world prior to that period.

But nowhere does the Bible present the notion the Wrath of God is poured out before the Return of Christ to Earth. In this series we will explore the following keys of discernment to help us understand a proper view of end-time events:
1. The difference between God's temporal Judgments and his eternal Wrath.
2. What Jesus really meant with his words: 'then shall be great tribulation'.
3. The true and plainly stated biblical timing of God's wrath in the last days.

amen amen. those who endure to the end shall be saved! Pre-TRIB rapture is very dangerous doctrine, a major part of the Christian world is very unprepared for the Times we are entering.. Seems like many are not even paying attention to the signs of the times! come lord Jesus come!

Yeshua said it Himself, immediately after the tribulation of those days, then we will see Him come. Even webster's definition of wrath and tribulation proves them to be very different. People need to believe Yeshuas words and not man. Blessings to you

The wrath of God comes after the tribulation! The rapture happens after the tribulation!

Matthew 24:29 (ESV): 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Revelation 6:12–17 (ESV): 12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

there are two words used for the English word 'wrath".... ergo and thymos.... ergo is eternal and spiritual.... thymos is physical and temporal in nature.

Is the great tribulation God's wrath?

I don't understand how can pre-tribulationists, that force to divide everything in the Bible, say that the great tribulation is God's wrath. They say for example that the last trump in 1 Cor 15:51-52 is not the seventh trump of Revelation 10:7, even as in both 1 Cor 15 and Rev 10:7 the trumps are about the same MYSTERY of God. With the false excuse of, and abusing "dividing the word of truth" in 2 Tim 2:15, they force to divide everything, even saying that some books in the Bible are not written to the church, accusing the church of reading mail not addressed to them! Yet they fail to "divide" (to use their term) between the great tribulation and the wrath of God! Why? The only explanation is that they force to interpret the Bible according to the pre-tribulation rapture fable they believe, even changing their hermeneutic to suit their fable, deceiving themselves one another.

there is no such thing as a futuristic 7 year great tribulation...
Daniel 9:26, 27:
"... shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

After Messiah (Jesus) was cut off by the cross, Titus (who's father Vespasion became Emperor of Rome... making him a prince) made a covenant with the Roman Senate to squelch the Jewish Uprising, this is the 7 year war known as the Roman Jewish War or Jewish Uprising. It started in 66 AD and ended with the fall of Masada in 73 AD... (If you don't know about Masada... watch a commentary or the old 70's movie 'Masada' on youtube". In the middle of that week (7 year war 66-73 AD) Jerusalem was destroyed when Titus broke through the wall and like a flood his army poured into the city and the temple was caught on fire by the Hellenist. The gold melted into the stones, and as a result... not one stone was left upon another because the gold seekers wanted the gold...Matt. 24:1-4, 15-21. The sacrifices and offerings (oblations) ended in 70 AD. How do someone come up with the idea that a futurist 7 year tribulation Period of time comes from Daniel 9:27? You DON'T.... Rather this idea is a singular interpretation (1 Peter 1:20) of one man in the 1830's named John Nelson Darby. Never is this concept taught in the Word of God, but ONLY by the mouths of MEN! A serious wake-up call to those attempting to present this as futurist is the fact that the sacrifices and offerings ended nearly 2000 years ago.

We are not appointed to wrath (Greek: ergo) but to salvation and forever living with Him.... Ergo: is defined in Rev. 14:10 as forever burning with fire and brimstone.... that is the ergo to come... 1 Thess 1:10.

Rev 2:18 Jesus warns the church to repent just prior to Him opening the judgment seals that Starts the tribulation in chapter 5. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to REPENT of her fornication; and she REPENTED not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into GREAT TRIBULATION, EXCEPT THEY REPENT of their deeds. How can Jesus Christ cast a church into the GREAT TRIBULATION if the whole church is still here for any part of the time of Jacob's trouble or GREAT TRIBULATION? To date nobody wants to answer this question. Church is gone Rev 4:1 and not mentioned one single time throughout the entire tribulation period. These are facts..
