How Did IDLES Get Their Name?

How did Idles become IDLES? Well, it depends which member of the band you ask. SPIN Music News correspondent Erica LeAnn caught up with IDLES at Lollapalooza 2022 to find out.

It seems like a double meaning thing to me... "Idols" would be superior beings while "Idles" is something dormant or stagnant, something less than being an "Idol"... same with "Tangk" with the drink "Tang" being so insignificant while a "Tank" is something very significant especially in conquering and warfare 😮 Am I a bit out on a limb there? 😂
