Did you ever hear about Brady Brandwood? He bought a lobster, got him a huge aquarium and called him Leon. Turns out that Leon couldn’t use his claws for a while (at least two weeks I think) because the rubberbands kept the muscles there shut down.
This means that your lobster probably starved to death because it uses those claws to hunt.

Also a lobster will either live in cold or warm water depending on the species. I think the ones you find in supermarkets are usually the cold ones because their meat is apparently better. Putting that lobster in warm water will severely harm and weaken him.
