Shunning is pridefulness weather inside or outside the Amish. I don't know of anywhere it says to do that in the scriptures, although there are many places that say not to.

That’s not very forgiving Amish. That’s not very forgiving. That’s not what the scripture teaches you to do right not to forgive but if that’s the way you are that’s why you don’t deserve forgiveness.
