About a month ago, the Five Nights At Freddy's Movie cast list got a new addition - Mike's dad. This raises some questions about whether or not Mike is going to be Michael Appleton in this movie, it certainly looks like it from the new official teaser trailer and the leaks, but who knows.

it’s possible that mikes mom left William because she found out who he is and Abby is his half sister. and I think the big movie twist is going to be Mike finds out that William is his father.

It's confirmed in the games that Mike Schmit is Michael Afton, though it's not confirmed for the movie, I'm sure there will be a plot twist halfway through the movie, but who knows...

Mike’s Dad could either pass as Michael’s Stepdad or a young William Afton. Thanks to the tapes, we know there’s a custody case, after all.

My thought process of this is, that Michael doesn't remember anything about Freddy or his father. It is possible for your mind to completely block certain traumatic memories in your life. So since the bite of 83 and the constant abuse from William Afton, he ended up blocking those memories. All this to say, he will be motivated to explore each location of the fnaf locations to get answers about his life.

The weird part is. Is that when they were making the list of like characters of the movie, they put younger mike, which I would think results around younger Micheal Afton.
