Recession & Macro-Economic Forecast - April 2022

We have just released the AP Macro-Economic Report for April 2022, covering economic events during March of 2022.

The most recent numbers keep only two of our six indicators in the green state, two now yellow, one red, and one in its “double red” state (reflecting similar action ahead of the Great Recession).

Pullbacks in equities and bond prices have been at work since early in January. We have updated charts illustrating the still top-heavy and highly risky nature of the equities markets, even as they remain deep in bubble territory.

Each day brings news of situations, both domestic and international, and such events can be confusing, distracting, or unrealistically pessimistic or optimistic, thus encouraging huge levels of volatile financial speculation.
