I was getting off the lift on 7 on Tue, Eric was teaching and saw me. "Nice Ryan Knapton hoodie!" I was like yea bro I was just talking to him. He was like I was just riding with him the other day! Cool dude, very solid.

Ryan/Eric thanks for the tips.
Ryan any tips or a video on how to be more fluid on your bottom half. Every time i see your close S’s i see the fluidity of how your legs move.

Hi Ryan, Could you indicate for those closed turns, where on that imaginary s-line you switch edges ? Apologies if you’ve already addressed this in another video. My carving has already improved a lot by watching your videos. But I wasn’t really realizing I’m actually doing those open turns. I have a gut feeling that switching heel to toe edge or vice versa, before going straight downwards forces you to lean into the turn more radically and therefore resulting in a more closed carve. If I’m completely wrong, I’m willing to learn, haven’t tried it yet, and I also thing it will take me some practice as your body position relative to gravity is different if you switch edges before the downwards line of movement.

Ryan, thank you for your great vids. A pleasure to watch them. May I ask what your board is? And it looks to me that you ride a wide stance? Cheers!

Hey Ryan hope all is well bro, haven’t touched base in a while. I have your original board specs (160, 30.5 waist, 8.9 side cut) if I moved up my side cut to something around 10.5-11 would that make closing my turns easier at higher speeds?
I love the board I have but slamming those turns on steeps at higher speeds can sometimes seem impossible to control... almost got ejected into the trees a couple time.
