if you are non latin, i would suggest you to be very careful. the culture is very different and language barrier does cause problems.

I haven't experienced most of this with my girlfriend of over 3 years. But she was born in a small pueblo and grew up "poor". Poor as in American standards, tin roof and dirt floor.
She is an amazing woman and I have never met anyone like her, incredibly hard working, caring and devoted, and incredibly BEAUTIFUL like a super model. No closet full of clothes, no family all up in her business. When we get married I will only be marrying her, not her siblings or parents. As Colombia is very diverse regionally, it also is with the type of women you can meet.

Someday, i will be back and will share my experiences. Unfortunately, i trolled her for drinking 3 coffee in 3 hour. I was mad its not good for neurons but i did not know they drink coffee same as we drink tea in Punjab, India. Learning Spanish is super hard for me. Fortunately, there will be lot ups and down but that is the beauty. Marrying in same culture become boring soon but marrying in different culture, those understandings and whole life pass learning about each other. Imagine, marry in court and then celebrate marry in Colombia in Colombian style and then celebrate marry in Punjab with those old tradition and rituals and 5 days different events big gathering. Then of course honeymoon from Maldives to Switzerland to Peru and settling in Chilliwack in Canada, I will be back to this video then. Eyes tells everything.

I need one, sounds perfect to me. I had no idea i am colombian. Drinking coffee all the time, drinking coffee 30 minutes before bed time.No issue for me.

Yes a lot of what you mentioned is so very true, my ex girlfriend was very very fiery but we got on very well, loved winding her up. Very loving though. 😊😂😂😂

Bravo. Edit is fire! Super fun the whole way through. I’m filming in Manizales. I love the coffee region.

Areas? Try almojabanas, bunuelos, pan de yuca, envueltos, and tosh biscuits (galletas)...

The always being late drives me crazy I am a very punctual person, but to be fair I am very disorganized at home so she earns the right to be late.

Not everyone..my dad is from cali and he arrives an hour early. My gf is costeña and even though costeños are notorious for being late she arrives 2 hours or an hour early

There are so many kinds of Arepa that there is an arepa for everybody. My favorite turned out to be chocolo. And since you didn’t ask: Favorite coffee is Matiz, favorite aguardiente is Amarillo, favorite snack brand is Ramo, favorite bread is almojábana.

My wife checks off all of these. She doesn't like to host things, but when we do, our house is immaculate and she's an awesome host.
