How does a student get to University when they can't form a sentence without saying "like" every other word?

Being a victim is a really comfortable place for so many people.

I’m half Japanese. My mother is from Okinawa and my father is from Alaska. Neither of them went to college. He was a bus driver and my mom was a daycare provider. I got my GED when I was 14. Never went to college. I moved out at 15 and worked hard. I retired when I was 42. These college students will forever be victims and they make me sick. I have zero empathy or sympathy for them.

I started at the bottom of a company. I did all the crappy jobs. I worked my way up. After 15 years of swing shift, never late, never missing a day (except for funeral) I was let go because a woman got my job. She had 3 years and started in the middle. Women didn’t have to lift anything over 20 lbs. (the only thing under 20 lbs was a broom! She was in kindergarten when I got hired. Yeah, she was discriminated against! (She ended up getting fired for damaging customers equipment). I didn’t fit into the quota.
Affirmative action discriminates against people who had nothing to do with discrimination. Where are our reparations?

The racial victim mentality never cease to disgust me. The mindset seems to be "Bad things happened to other people well before I was ever born and I am entitled to compensation for things that never happened to me". They literally believe they should financially profit from someone else's misery.

Whenever someone says "For example....slavery", then it's time to tune out.

My family has been in the country from nearly the start and we don’t have any generational wealth. Were white as hell and no one in my family ever could afford to go to college. The idea that white peoples are ahead for being white is ridiculous.

I was a single white mom with two sons and an absent father. We were divorced when the boys were just turning 2 and 5. For the first 10 yrs I made less than $20, 000 a yr. Child support of $300 per child, never adjusted, was helpful but by many standards wasn’t enough….. I never took public assistance and I made lots of sacrifices. I made the boys my first priority. I worked, saved and did what I could to provide a stable and happy home. A coworker and I went out to lunch one day. I purchased the cheapest thing on the menu and a glass of water. She in turn got appetizer, full meal, dessert and two drinks. She was also a single mom. One child and a higher income. When she dropped me off at home a repair man was arriving with a new water heater. As she was leaving she stated ‘must be nice to be able to afford a new one’. I was stunned…. He’s the deal, I taught my sons our reality was different than some others but we were still blessed and the point I want to make is that. Those daily decisions that I was making allowed me to save enough money to put my youngest son (oldest choose not to go) through college. We received no assistance ironically because we are white and I had a savings account. A financial aide officer told me it would be better for me to blow it all on a new car and boat but I didn’t listen. I paid the bill because that’s what I was taught to do. My son earned his degree in engineering… and I was very proud….until 10 yrs later when I learned he had been told it was his “white privilege’ that led to his success and my son became apologetic….You see he was never raised to think of himself as a victim. He considered himself blessed and I was shocked to hear that he had forgotten how much was sacrificed on his behalf. I guarantee that many of the liberals preaching have significantly more than I had as a young woman because sacrifice is frowned upon. Kamala doesn’t want everyone to end up at the same place. If she did she wouldn’t be living the life she’s lived…it’s garbage meant to distract. To pull us all down…please don’t buy into it. The boys and I are blessed but not because of the color of our skin. God is good. He cares about all of us…
