So I've tried making this genre...

In this video I'm making a genre called Phonk! But wait... How do you do it? What is Phonk? Or shall I say... What the phonk?! Let's find out what it is and attempt making a song in that genre! Lesssss goooo!!!!!!!!!

I'd say absolutely nailed it. I do prefer the vocals to be more mono-tone and in the background, but it still makes for a very good song that definetly fits into the phonk genre.

I love this genre (specifically drift phonk) just for the fact the community has associated it with underground car racing/drifting. The beat aspect, tied with the reeses and (normally) memphis rap samples, just make you want to shred tires, or just cruise, everytime you listen.

I used your kick roll technique and I found that pitching it down a few cents after consolidating and fading gives it a really nice tonal effect

You got the music part spot on, the second part of the vocals however could be more echo-ish and shady and it gets more silent near the end of the drop
