How to Increase the Volume Level in Audacity

The first thing you'll learn in this Audacity tutorial is how to open an existing record. It's as easy as dragging and dropping MP3, WAV, etc. into the Audacity window.

When you are ready to remove a sound from the recording, you must select a sound by holding down the mouse button and dragging the sound. Once you have selected a sound, simply press the delete key on your computer keyboard to delete it.

If you want to enlarge a part of your music, all you have to do is select it with your mouse and click the "Fit Selection in Window" button in Audacity. If you find a button that you don't recognize, you just have to hover over it and its name will appear after a few seconds.

It's very easy to hide audio recordings in Audacity. First select the part of the music you want to fade out, go to the EFFECT menu and select FADE OUT. It is very easy! The same process applies to FADE IN.

I can't see the Record Volume slider, in your video it's on the right under the numbers -24 to -6, beside the green triangle. I'm in v.3.5.1. Can you tell me which menu I need to activate, or???
