A Tip Rhinoplasty is usually performed on a patient who has reasonably good bony structure in the upper part of the nose but may have a distortion at the tip of the nose where there is a conjunction of the cartilages and the septum. At times these will produce a bulky tip on a rather thin nose so that we will address the tip only by decreasing its volume and shape.
