Thank you. I have seen many of your videos. As a 69 yr old I am pretty good with my phone and iPad now. And when I can’t remember, I go and look again! Thanks for taking the time, and explaining in ‘simple’ terms that I can follow.

This video is a game changer for me. Using the scan function in the phone's camera app, and have the scans automatically saved as a PDF, and then integrate with email or text . So easy! Thank you.

As an ‘older’ person and new to iOS I find these videos very useful. Thank you and keep it up 👍🏻

I am switching from Huawei to iPhone 13 pro max, and I got a say that the difference is immense. Your videos are helping me a lot. Thank you, good man, and greetings from Zagreb 🇭🇷 .

Thank you I have used Apple for years and this hasn’t in my opinion been very accessible. Putting things in correct places is the way to go.

Any chance you might do a video on managing & linking Music playlists across iMac, iPad & iPhone? My iPhone only shows a few of the several playlists I’ve created on my desktop (from CDs, not Apple Music). Your channel is really helpful, thank you!

For the life of me, I've never noticed the Scan Documents option in the Files App. Just abused the heck out of it - brilliant 🙆🏽‍♂️👏

On an iPad I use split screen a lot and can have 2 files windows open side by side. Drag and drop from one to the other is then possible. Very handy, just like a Mac desktop 😎 I use this feature a lot to move files around my numerous NAS drvies on my home network. Some are proper NAS others just server Mac Minis with hard drives attached.

Great to be able to do useful stuff on an iPad relaxing on the comfy seats in the kitchen rather than the office desk.

Remote control of the various desktop machines with the iOS app ‘Screens’ is also really handy.

Thanks! This was always so difficult to understand, but you have illuminated "Files" for me. You are literally a godsend.

Thanks! I wish the Scan Documents feature could be set to default to black & white. The color scans are nice but often too large to email. I know there are other apps to do this, but it would be nice if the built-in scan feature would do it without having to choose black & white each time.

Thanks for the very informative video! I've been using Apple devices for decades, and I was only marginally aware of the features in the Files app.

Can you please do a video on Notes vs Files app? Sometimes I struggle on deciding where to store my data. I find myself leaning more towards Notes if it’s mainly pdf files and pics because then I can add little snippets of notes between my files.

You can select multiple files easily by swiping with two fingers.
I use tags for files I need to print later.

The connect to server option is brilliant. Now I can connect to my NAS. Keep the videos coming!

I love these videos…the files app is damn useful if you have the full Mac ecosystem

I’m able to move files between my devices and work on them if I’m away from my iPad or MacBook
