Hammock Campervan Bed - Yes 👍 No 👎

Definitely! When I go backpacking I only use a hammock and I’m 50. If you hang like a banana you are hanging wrong. Your body should be off center of the hang points and feet slightly higher than your head. No back pain if done right.

I have a bad back and neck, so after trying to sleep in my brand new bed I was so uncomfortable month after month, that I finally got a hammock/stand, and now I've been able to sleep like a baby for over a year!
I traveled from TX AL FL CA MO LA for 9 months, but I've felt stuck in my 2 year lease that's costing me $1, 300/mo, so on Sept 1st, I will finally be able to get back to a $500 monthly budget!
So I am thinking of trading my Jeep in for a minivan, so that I can stretch out in a hammock and have plently of space during the day.

I did this when I started Van Life, while I was building, nothing but back pain in the morning. You need to be laid straight out, not have an arched back all night.

All I can see are the multitude of sharp corners i will hit as I find myself flying out of that hammock....

Nah cause with my luck I'd fall out and hurt myself, especially if I gotta make a get away in case of emergency.

To save space, I've considered just having a hammock instead of a bed! I sleep well in them.

They make MUCH better hammocks now that don't curve like this. Invest in one! 😜
