Here's an idea for an early-game mini game:
1.) Get a sheep of each color.
2.) Rename them all to _jeb so they're all rainbowy and you can't tell them apart.
3.) Place them in an area with plenty of grass with a hopper minecart rolling underneath.
4.) Craft a bunch of Shears and wear them down to one use each.
5.) Charge one diamond per go.
6.) The player picks a sheep and shears it. The color of wool they get corresponds to the color of the prize block they receive; blue = a block of lapis, red = Redstone, green = cactus, etc. With the grand/lucky prize being the light blue giving them a diamond block.
7.) Call it Shear Luck.
Now you have a source of wool and the Hermits have a fun game with a cool prize to win.
