"I have my spring loaded syringe in the vacuum chamber." followed by "I'm gonna cut that tape with the laser."
This guy is so cool omg

this guy is always answering questions nobody asked but its always interesting

Can we all agree that cutting the tape with a laser was a whole lot cooler

So, this was basically “does a vacuum work inside a vacuum”.

"Im gonna cut that tape with a laser"

Man's effortlessly flexing without realising it

He is always just as happy as a kid when his experiments work

I love the casual 'then I'm going to cut the tape with A LASER'...

I love this guy. He answers all his questions and teaches to public. He is living my dream.

That’s cool and all, but cutting that tape with a laser?!?! Amazing

Vacuum? Pssh. You had me at, “Cut the tape with a laser.”

When you learn that “suction” doesn’t really exist, and that what we think of as a pulling force, is really a pushing force from air pressure, these experiments are a lot easier to understand.

this guy is the only dude to make me wanna learn science effectively tbh, ik im not the only one

I'm sure someone had already said this but the syringe doesn't actually "suck", when you create low pressure inside the syringe, the higher pressure outside, "pushes" the water in. Physics 101.

There's should be a series called "Things I didn't know I needed to know"

If the tubing has no gas bubbles, maybe the syringe can produce a negative pressure on the liquid and soak up the water. But with the water boiling this is not possible (as the water vapor fills the space). Maybe it is possible with another liquid that do not boil in vacuum...
Gas bubbles is a thing even in normal atmosphere, you is capable of pushing a syringe that has air in it when you close the input. But with water it is very difficult.

This guy makes me feel that a vacuum chamber is a MUST BUY !
Going to buy it !!

This is an EXCELLENT demonstration. It really demonstrates how suction actually works because of the outside atmosphere pushing a fluid.

The whole syringe in a vacuum thing, cool in and of itself, was completely overshadowed by the cut the tape with a laser part(for me anyway).

So what you’ve told us about vacuums is that they break all laws of physics basically

The way you figure out how to interact with things inside the vacuum chamber - magnets, lasers, etc. - is so cool! Literally thinking outside the box 🤯
