How does his view of the demiurge (gnostic view) square with his ideas of the simulation? The Demiurge is a false-god who imprisoned us in this false reality, and so is the architect of the matrix the demiurge of the gnostics, or something different?

I dont understand that if the theory is true how it works out. If I somehow move laterally into an another layer of existence what happens to my former self in the reality which I've left? I guess my body/personality dont just disappear there, because everyone (my family, friends) would notice it. So.. how can you traverse without leaving an empty space behind you?

Or is it plays out like that every possible incernations of ourselves are playing out simultanilously but they are just like a carriing vehicle, which the SOUL jumps back-and-forth? So maybe we are just one iteration of an infinite soul which always hopping on-off of realities and changing place regularly. But we, as just one of the iterations we dont notice it. So when we are "living a good life" we are moving up in the ladder, and we push an other iteration of our souls down on the ladder, so he is replacing us basically in our own universe. The changes are little and step-by-steps so its gradual thats why we dont see the change that much.

Considering 2020, and 2022 COVID and Ukraine war thou... Maybe we (the souls actually trapped in this reality) are bad guys, who are having this experience as a punishment because of our sins.

So I imagine it as a multiplayer game's ladder system, where is promotions and relegations taking place (maybe) every single moment decided by our actions.

Very interesting!! So for me, The Question is, Are We the Reason for the Simulation or Are we A Byproduct of Tha Simulation? Does the Programmer know We Exist? Also the Simulation was only Seconds but from our perspective space-time is 14 Billions yrs old... Just a thought, ✌🏾
