This is an old Philip K Dick speech during his visit to Metz France in 1977. The French interpreter has been edited out.

It's a very interesting talk. Philip K Dick was too advanced for his time.

The fact that this man was thinking and deciphering all this in the 70s is actually NUTS if you think about it… and to me he seems pretty spot on

This is profound. Dyck is fortelling the
Mandela Effect phenomenon, but even more astonishing is the Many
Worlds hypothesis in string theory,
taken very seriously in quantum Physics.
These concepts were not even imagined in 1977, and you can tell
by the expressions of audience members that they have no frame of reference to his speech.

I can relate to anybody who envisions alternate timelines in the multiverse. Philip K. Dick was most courageous to bring all this to global attention in the 70s.

Anyone who has read PKD understands that he invented and re-invented the matrix throughout his career. His entire career was about challenging accepted reality,

As Michael Moorcock so aptly said: “Dick is quietly producing serious fiction in a popular form and there is no greater praise."

Wow! This would explain the Mandela effect. This guy really had insights.

I fully concur with Philip K Dick's view on memories for past/alternative lives seemingly popping in out of no where. Imagination requires effort, but these memories often arise in moments of mental calmness. A sudden brilliant flash of a scene, and then you're back in your normal headspace utterly confused about where in the world that came from and what does it mean.

Nothing is true in absolute. Black and white can appear the same depending on your perspective.

It’s interesting that PKD says he wrote his novels based on a PREVIOUS world, but the scenarios that he wrote about are coming to reality in our present. This may be his only confusion. He felt that the “memories” he recalled already happened … which his misconception actually proves his point further - that there is no linear time, and that time is happening simultaneously. Wow.

After hearing this, I wonder if this was the Wachoskis inspiration and if so do they even credit him 🤔 ?

Philip K. Dick; was right on spot in 1977 but the question is how did he know?

So when does it end? Can we somehow make it end for good?

This could explain the phenomenon 'The Mandela effect'. Thanks for the upload 👍

He says somewhere here that we will re-find the secret knowledge, 1977 was also the year Nag Hammadi (gnostic) texts were translated into English. May be coincidence may be not, who knows what.

"Watchmen", "The Matrix", looks like many owe the PKD estate royalties. His miscalculation was that the threat to the system was one man (Nixon) and not systematic in nature.

Sad to see the uncomprehending faces of listeners who obviously couldn't handle what he was saying.

This brings to mind the "many worlds interpretation" of quantum mechanics.
