This is a video from the Software Architecture fwdays'22 conference, that was held on September 24, 2022.

Talk description:
Microservices are long past the hype - and because of the perceived complexity, architects are starting to build monoliths again. After all, everything was better in the past. But why are monoliths often unmaintainable today? This shows that the discussion about monoliths and microservices misses the point. The remedy for excessive complexity and lack of maintainability has been known for a long time: modularization. And that's why this talk is about modules - and thus about approaches to developing both sensible monoliths and microservices systems.

Sometimes before i was working on project, where each update to it increased cost and time for development of the next feature dramatically. And fix for this problem cost more the whole company with this project. So it was simpler to build new company with new code rather than fix this one)

Im really interesting what the hell Netflix doing with their code. Because as a user i see very simple and broken app that cant event accomplish simple task. So when i see their huge architecture, i just want to ask "how they fuck they use it and for what?"
