I think hard to pick winner between. Afaik, however you design, there is little bit (if you are doing 100 microservices then ignore ‘little bit 😅) of managing overhead. I have seen businesses keeping monolithic and adding new features into microservices which could be option. Works well for delivering to demanding customers but configuration gets messy 😅!

There is no right and wrong!! Microservices are not a goal you need to achieve! You will use them only if you need them. For those of you trying to understand if microservices please read some books and try to avoid the hype.

But why did you move from microservice to monolith ? Infrastructure costs?
