I'm a woman and grew up in the 60''s and 70's The draft is nothing new to me. I had three brothers that served during the Vietnam area. One one is still alive.
Sadly, the wealthiest of people make their money with the help of the " killing fields." Women wanted equal rights, well now we have them whether it is for the better or worse.
People are just chattel when it comes to needing bodies on the war front.

The military needs more tech not more bodies. A high school janitor makes more money and has more job benefits than an E-5. And they actually get paid for their overtime, have weekends off, and are (mostly) out of harm's way. Why would anyone enlist nowadays?

My mentality handicapped son got a notice and I called about it and was told I had to register him and if a draft was to come about that is when I would tell them about him being handicapped. He's 18 with a 2 year old mind. I'm not doin it. Blow me biden

They wont to work you to death. Crap pay. I worked 13 to 18 hour 7 days a week 4 months. Month off That builds stress on everyone. 17 to 20 dollar a hour. Carpentry, tin, putting equipment in place.
