I’m 18, I’m from Houston Tx. Just graduated high school. I Love the idea of going to residential homes and satisfying the home owners. I’ve always had a passion towards helping. I am currently researching as much as I can to gain as much knowledge. I am as well looking for a mentor to guide me towards success. I really appreciate you, for taking your valuable time to make these videos. Thank you !

Started as a drain cleaner in 1999 and then moved to an apprenticeship at a non-union shop. In 2002 the economy took a dive, and I was low man and got let go. I went back to drain cleaning and stayed there for many years. I then left that and got into project Managment at a non-union plumbing shop and did that for a few years . As I used the wholesale houses I liked the idea of sales and wholesale selling plumbing and HVAC. I became an outside sales guy in a short time and did very well. As I was on the road selling, I met an owner that was looking to retire and sell. We spoke seriously about it, and he financed me for the first 6 mos. Lawyers met and contracts were drawn up. We kept the business name and rolled into business ownership. We have 23 employees and are maintaining and building the business. It's been a long road but after 25 years, I own my own company and we're working towards our 7th year. Like Roger said, not all decisions are set in stone. Some are just part of a bigger plan. Stay busy!

Thank you for your video, I am planning to become a master plumber in NYC. I am a 36 years old mommy with 3 kids, no work experience in plumbing trade and no diploma in U.S., but I am really interested in it. Trying my best!

I'm 23, from Tyler, TX. I have been looking to do plumbing as a essential skill trade. I don't really plan on owning a plumbing company because I don't see myself doing it in the future, but the goal is for me gain a lot of info and knowledge about plumbing, and learn the ins and outs of it while simultaneously making bank. Tbh, I also don't plan on staying in that field for over 10 years as I have other goals in life to achieve, but once I have this experience, if something goes down in society or when crisis hit, I have this trade in my back pocket. The world will ALWAYS need a plumber.

I’m 25. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a career advisor about enrolling in a plumbing program and pursuing an apprenticeship. I graduated university in 2021 and though I am grateful for the experience it was pushed on me as the only option, so I really hadn’t even considered anything else. I’ve grown up and expanded my mind since then and I’m excited to start this next chapter. Thank you for your videos!!

I remember when I started watching your channel I believed that I was going to learn things. I’ve been in the trades for my entire adult life and the most important thing I ever learned was to never quit learning. You had the opportunity to be a real teacher

Roger that. I'm in Iowa, I flip houses and have rental properties. Started out as a handyman. Most jobs are residential service. I have learned on the job and reading books. Out of all the handyman jobs I enjoy plumbing. From soldering to pex to installing gas lines, I enjoy it. I want to be certified. My university degree does not serve any purpose for me. I also play with tinker cad with my 3D printer. I love building
