What is the Rapture according to the Bible?

The real answer is the Rapture is not in the bible. This video is showing what I believe the main factor will be in the great falling away. Please follow for future videos that will explain what the bible actually says the second coming for Christ will be like. I promise that it's not what most have been taught, and will be a hard thing for most Christians to believe.

Paul directly calls the event "the resurrection of the dead" in 1 Cor 15:42.. which is the exact same event in 1 Thess 4:13-18... so when people state that the EVENT(NOUN) known as being "caught up" (VERB)... they directly rename a verb into a noun and ignore the fact that Paul already had given it a name. The resurrection of the dead, maintains the focus on the dead, whereas the new term "rapture" redirects the focus to the living. As any good magician knows, the art of deception is redirection. A person has to go to school to know the difference between a verb and a noun. Peter tells us that "Unlearned" individuals, twist Paul's teaching on this matter, as they do all of Scripture and then he calls them "wicked" and tells us not to fall from our own steadfastness... 2 Peter 3:15-17. Why do you think he pinpointed Paul's teaching on this matter and not his own or Christ's or John's?
Jesus said that no man knows the day or the hour in which the heavens would be destroyed... Matt 24:35-43, Mark 13:31, 32. He was repeating Job 14;12, "Man dies and does not rise again until the heavens are destroyed". Peter then quotes Christ and tells us that Jesus comes like a thief in the night when the heavens are destroyed... 2 Peter 3:10. Jesus cannot come like a thief in the night at the time the heavens are destroyed if the conjured fable of a rapture were to occur 7 years prior to when Scripture declares when Christ will come "like a thief". In order for a rapture to occur prior to the heavens being destroyed, the element of surprise would have to fall on that event.... rather Scripture declares that to occur when the heavens are destroyed. Paul directly calls this event "the resurrection of the dead"... as Job 14:12 declared. Those martyred for not taking the mark are resurrected at the FIRST resurrection... REv 20:4-6. To suggest a rapture is to SUBTRACT from the Book of Revelation at Rev 20:4-6 the term "FIRST" and then ADD in a THIRD resurrection into this passage To subtract from the Book is to have your name subtracted from the book of life... REv 22:18, 19. Every argument for a rapture is birthed out of deception... Jesus, Peter and Paul all warn us of that deception.. Matt 24:3-4, 2 Peter 3:15-17, 2 Thess 2:1-3.

thank you for not diving off the pre-trib platform. Escaping tribulation sounds great, but it's better to be faithful to the end. Calvary Chapel -- Costa Mesa taught that 1948 + 40 years would be the end; therefore the secret rapture would happen in 1981. Well, it didn't happen. So trust in Jesus to get us thru to the end, Amen!

The one question I haven't had answered is found in John 11:23-24 "Jesus said to her (Martha), “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

If the dead in Christ rise in the Resurrection on the Last Day, how can there be another rising of the dead 7 years prior to the Last Day?

Even for strict Dispensationalists, this means the Christian dead in Christ, after His Passion, will rise 7 years before the Last Day while the Jewish people from an earlier Dispensation, will rise 7 years later on the Last Day. That's 2 resurrections.

The 'rapture' is pre Trib. The second coming is after the Trib. Rapture: Jesus comes FOR THE CHURCH/ BRIDE/ BELIEVERS. The second coming is when Jesus comes WITH his saints.

The rapture was added as a foot note to the Scolfield Bible in the 1830’s. Was a dream from a little girl in Scotland that John Darby brought to America and Moody put it in the Bible.

The Harvest of the Earth

Pre-Trib Rapture

Christ is VERY CLEAR on this subject. PERIOD!

Matthew 24:29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Mark 13:24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, 25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. Those who teach a pre-Trib “rapture” are sons of Gehenna… they are AGAINST CHRIST!

This is why… That one false teaching will be the catalyst for the Great Apostasy! When “Christians” witness the undeniable signs of the Tribulation and realize they were not “beamed up” to Heaven, they will lose faith! They will be rocked to their foundations and question: “I’m a believer. Why wasn’t I good enough?”

Likewise, these are the same false teachers who twist Paul’s epistles to suit their agenda. What both say is true, but the timeline is different for the latter.

In addition, most people don’t realize that there are three resurrections in the future:

* Enoch and Elijah, the two witnesses of Revelation, after they are killed by Leviathan (the beast of the sea/abyss) in the streets of Jerusalem where their dead bodies will lie for three Biblical yomim (“evenings” and “mornings” per Genesis 1) towards the conclusion of the Tribulation.

* Those beheaded for Christ DURING the Tribulation. They will serve as priests of the order of Melchizedek (Heb. Malki-tsedeq) during His Millennial Reign (and beyond!) on Earth immediately after the Second Coming. Also, the righteous elect who endure/survive the Tribulation. This is what Paul is referencing in 1 Thessalonians 4 et al. Note: They aren’t taken up into Heaven but to Jerusalem. Christ abdicates His Throne as the Prince of Peace in Heaven to serve as the King of kings and Lord of lords on Earth and the New Earth to come! Re-read Revelation 21:1-22:5. Our ultimate destination is NEW EARTH! Heaven and the New Heaven to come is the domain of the Elohim. When we die, our souls go DOWN to Heb. She’ol/Gr. Hades to await resurrection.

* The righteous elect from Abel forward as well as the elect living on Judgment Day on Yom Kippur near the conclusion of the fourth age in 7000 A.M.

ALL modern churches and synagogues are chock full of false traditions (embellishments not in Scripture), precepts of men (manufactured theology), and doctrines of demons (assimilated paganism) as was prophesied! Those in pulpits “tickle the ears” of their congregations by telling them what they want to hear.

The true church was called The Way (Gr. tēn Hodon/Heb. HaDerech) as is mentioned throughout Acts as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Enoch and Elijah, the two witnesses of Revelation, will re-establish The Way during the Tribulation in preparation for Christ’s Second Coming.

Sorry I have so many questions, in rev 4:1 john says, and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me which said Come up hither...which of the 7trumpets is that?

There's two raptures actually. Pre and post. Hopefully it's this December 25 or rest of December 2024
