I’ve had Tmj issues for years! Grinding my teeth for 14 years (wear my splint every night) I’ve had a chiro and physio do this to me and while it helps at the time I couldn’t eat for days after. Finally seeing a specialist.
Agree, this is the one of the worse things to do!

Ohhh no!! I only go to the chiropractor for my back if I straight up can't sleep. They ALWAYS tell me that I "need" extra sessions even though my pain is fixed with one session every few months.

I followed their advice once and bought 2 more sessions- ended up in worse pain than before.

So I can only imagine what's up with her jaw. I hope jaw cracking is not a regular practive that chiropractor office recommends.

Many people just don't know and better and trust them.

My chiropractic is an actual orthopedist who does chiropractic work. He resolved my daily migraines and back aches in one session. They never came back.

I’ve had tmj since 2002... It would just randomly flare up and pinched a nerve, causing the whole side of my face to hurt, the pain was just unreal. But in 2010 I had to have full dental surgery and have all my teeth removed and now I have plates(too long of a story to get into). The plates are now a problem in and of itself but whatever. Since I had the surgery, my tmj is gone. I haven’t had a single flare up in 11 years
