TheWolfePit is showing that, even while on a budget, we the people can still take our entire families on frequent trips to flavor country.

Larry, after watching this video for probably 3 times, I wanted to tell you that I have made this for countless times and my husband and I have really enjoyed it. Plus adding different veggies and meat makes it a new meal each time. Thank you. You are doing such good works for those of us who need to stretch a meal.

We eat this at least once a month, sometimes twice.
This works very well; you can play endless variations on this theme.

Au Gratin potatoes from a box were my absolute favorite as a kid, and still have a place in my heart. I will have to try this one! I pray for lots of healing and abundance for you and your family in 2024, Larry! Thanks for your awesome channel!

I am Harold, I too use a wheelchair for mobility. I was born with Spina Bifida & hydrocephalus. I use your channel to help me not only watch my pennies on common ordinary daily purchases of foods such as your frozen dinners but to also help me with ideas on recipes I can cook that are budget friendly.

A comment you made in a recently uploaded video of your potatoes au gratin and hot dogs made me think of a quick easy and budget friendly snack idea.

I think this would be excellent in the air fryer but due to its nature I think traditional deep frying might work better. I’d like to see you do a side by side comparison of the two frying techniques.

First one being to air fry the potatoes once out use the packet of cheese to season the potatoes as well as make another portion using seasonings of your liking for anyone watching their salt. The second method, obviously deep frying and using the same seasoning method. The cheese packet and any other seasonings of your liking.

I’d divide the potatoes into two portions per method one portion for the cheese to be added on top and the other for any other seasonings of your liking. Seasoning the potatoes would be easy, once each portion is divided out, place each portion in a bag and shake the each portion with the cheese and the other with whatever other seasonings you’d like.

I’d experiment with ranch seasoning, bbq rub seasoning, of course the cheese packet that comes with the au gratin, ranch seasoning packets. The possibilities are endless. This video might possibly make you YouTube champion of the millennium. Especially with the stoners.

In the 1950-60s, my carpenter father was out of work a lot. The anthracite region was a perpetually depressed economy, and the 1950s saw a few recessions. He calculated the cost of a ham, a turkey, etc., how many meals could be cooked from one whole "hunk" and then counted the cost of weekly meat purchases. It was far more economical to buy a whole turkey and base a week's meals of entrees, soups, and stews that could be cooked from it. As an elementary school child, I was impressed with his arithmetic skills. The economy of it could not be denied. We never did it, though. I don't know why. Later, butchers offered 1/2 cow meat sale packages that made sense, too. We never did that, either. I remember a heated argument over the initial outlay, the cost of a chest freezer, and the real possibility of the loss of the entire purchase in a freezer breakdown or an extended power outage. I swore I would grow up, get a good education, and not be what the "professionals" call "food deprived" ever again.

I do this all the time. Some sort of meat, some kind of carb(pasta or rice) and some sort of sauce. Easy way to use up leftovers, 10/10
